Filmmaker Vishnuvardhan's upcoming romantic feature "Nesippaya," announced by XB Film Creators, features debutants Akash Murali and Aditi Shankar in lead roles. Recently revealed, the film also stars versatile actor Kalki Koechlin, who will portray a Portugal-based lawyer named Indira. Her character is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing the film's narrative, adding depth and intrigue to the storyline.
Kalki Koechlin, known for her diverse roles in Indian cinema, made her Tamil debut in Ajith's "Nerkonda Paarvai," a remake of the Hindi film "Pink," directed by H Vinoth. She later appeared in the Netflix anthology "Paava Kadhaigal," directed by Vignesh Shivan, alongside Anjali. Her inclusion in "Nesippaya" underscores the film's ambition to blend compelling storytelling with Kalki's seasoned acting prowess.
