Manju Warrier wrote in her Instagram story that she was very happy to see the two dearest people on screen and this 'flow' of emotions will stay in her mind for a long time. Basil Joseph Parvathy, Prashanth Murali, Arjun Radhakrishnan, etc. who said that Ullozhukku is a very intense and gripping film, praised the cast and crew and also highlighted Urvashi's performance. Tovino, who said that it is an intense film, commented that the film has an extraordinary composition, making and performances. The theme of the film is a death in a family living in Kuttanad and the secrets that unfold in that family. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Honey Teheran and Abhishek Chaubey under the banners of RSVP and McGuffin Pictures, Ullozhukku is produced by Sanjeev Kumar Nair under the banner of Reverie Entertainments. The film has now entered its second season. Ullozhukku is the first feature film by Christo Tomi, who directed the Netflix-streamed documentary 'Curry and Cyanide' based on the Koodatai murder cases.
